A good idea or just spam?

I've just had an idea, maybe not just at this moment but maybe a few days ago. There are a shit tonne of things I've written about here. Some of them are quite brutally honest and some are just outright scary, when I think about someone reading through it. At their very core it is how I think or at least as much as I can articulate with words. Most of them are not quite read worthy but at the same time giving myself permission to write crap has been the most freeing experience in this journey of writing. About the idea, I'm thinking of setting up another automation that goes through all the blogs I've written from the start but never shared and sharing them using Zapier. One a day. And in about a couple hundred days I can turn it off, as it'll have been all caught up. It feels a bit spamlike but what the hell. The scary part is that some of those blogs I have no idea what I've written about. But I know that all of them are honest and things I actually thought to be true at the time or simply in the process of exploring.

The courage to be disliked

I've recently picked up this book and I'm surprised how much of the ideas match what I have learned in the process of facing my demons and just living through some of my most difficult times ever. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Especially if you feel like your past is holding you back. The ideas in the book can seem quite brutal but they are so true. It goes quite contrary to what is mainstream. But what it can do for you is make you feel more empowered if you read it with an open mind.

I've only read about the first quarter of the book so far, but one of the very first things the book talks about is trauma from past experiences and that we hold on to them as an excuse to either feel special or as an excuse to not make any changes. In the short term we feel comforted but in the long term it leaves us feeling dissatisfied and helpless. It has certainly been the case with me. Surprisingly it got to a point where I just got tired of these narratives and decided to move past it, way before I came across this book. It helped to know that I wasn't alone in thinking along these lines. There are still quite a few things that I want to read about in this book, but I'm glad I came across it. It is one of the best books I've read this year by far.

I'd like to thank Matt D'Avella for making a video about it. The book is definitely deserving of a whole video being dedicated to it. I'd highly recommend it. I'm going to be adding it to my reading list too.
