Should I write a Wifi driver?

You know how when you don't know how to do something, then you figure it out but you are not really convinced if you have really groked it. Which makes sense and is completely valid. So I guess I'm writing a wifi driver for the ESP8266. As I have been reading through the datasheet and some initial research on the device, it seems like it comes with it's own processor. So I'm not sure how complicated the driver is going to be, especially since the processor and memory is a lot larger than the display device. I'm also glad I started on the display otherwise this might have been a much longer ordeal. I'm feeling a lot more confident about this one, as I'm not completely lost and I have an idea of where I can get the information I need from.

Wifi is quite interesting

There is so much I'm reading about and I have to look up every third word but I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I like being slightly out of my comfort zone. It might even be a super power. It's where I feel most at home, provided there is no money or other people involved. Then it just becomes stressful. Which has it's own merits as things get done a lot faster.

There someone on the stream today who actually works on these daily in some capacity, which was fucking awesome. It's people I would have never interacted with otherwise if it weren't for the stream. I was going to be streaming everyday anyways but people actually showing up is giving positive reinforcement that I haven't had for the last couple of years at all. Usually when I do things I don't see any positive results for quite a bit of time down the road. I'm even excited about streaming now, it's providing me more reasons to go to bed on time so that I show up for the stream. Exciting times.
