Staying hydrated to be in the zone

I find that the way that my days start are quite consistent since I have been waking up at the same time. It's usually the time of day after lunch, which can be a hit and a miss sometimes. After lunch today, I felt quite low on energy. And I did not really want to do anything. I've been focusing on eating a diet mostly of Protien, so at first I thought this might be the effects of that. After an hour or two of doing nothing I got really bored. So I decided to get some pop and get some sugar flowing through me. At some point I was thirsty and too lazy to walk all the way to the fridge to get a refill. I had some water on the table, I decided to drink that instead. Turned out that drinking iced water, made the water more enjoyable for me. Now that the fascinating back story is out of the way. Let's get to the point.

Surprisingly, I found myself glued to the desk. I even felt like I was deep in the zone. No music, no breaks for six hours straight. With one small break in between. Now the tasks were clear, so it could be that. Or the iced water might have been it too. I'd like to experiment around this tomorrow and I'll be coming back with some conclusions by the end of the week. I'm quite hungry hence why this post might seem a bit meaningless. Unlike the other days, I can't be bothered to check if what I have written is any good.
