Less time is better

The first of January I took up a contract to build the API for a company. The purpose was to invest everything the SAAS makes back into it. Plus anything extra I have left over from the contract. It'll be a tough couple of months as I'm starting the API from scratch and at the same time, the SAAS is quite early and there are constant features and fixes that are needed on a weekly basis. The goal is to hire someone as soon as I can afford them but till then it's going to be seven days a week of work. I'm not complaining. Loving it infact. I've still got time in the mornings to work on my browser project too. Which is quite important to me.

It might seem like quite the workload but I've been able to get a lot more done as there is a time crunch now. I've got a routine upgrade at the same time. As long as I keep waking up the early hours and train regularly I should be able to keep this up for a couple months or more. The energy is quite exhilarating, things are happening. I feel like I have a lot more control of my life and there is a potential to be wealthier than I have ever been. I love the chase anyways so this is bliss for me.

I guess it's even more rewarding as I'll be the one reaping the rewards or paying the price of failure. Those odds are fine by me. I feel like I have some ownership over the outcomes of my effort. It's quite rewarding on it's own.

So far I haven't had to reduce anything from the day to day, except maybe time spent watching TV. That's fine by me.
